This session includes generous time for going over the principles of community deathcaring and family-led service. All of which can be undertaken collaboratively with the right funeral home and cemeteries.

With early diagnosis many of us have a grasp of the disease or illness that may be a part of our end-of-life. This session provides a space to talk about what processes look like for survivors after the death has happened.

It can be helpful for the dying individual to know that their community has a heartfelt and solid plan for the hours and days after their passing.

Once an individual has been approved for MAiD we start to consider what that day might look like and what comes after.

This session would be suitable for a small group supporting an individual, or anyone who is wanting to cultivate their own resources.

The planning that goes into preparing to bring our babies into the world often falls short of preparations for when a pregnancy results in miscarriage, termination, or stillbirth. For some individuals, having a plan in place for if things don’t go the way they hope can be helpful.

This session covers the considerations for deathcare throughout stages of pregnancy and early infancy.

Using our experiences with anticipated death to help support survivors of unexpected death. Factors that prolong or complicate the funeral experience and how to mitigate additional stress for families and communities.

Acknowledging, validating, and understanding decision-making in crisis and how that impacts deathcare planning.

This session is for those who support individuals in early loss and are seeking additional resources and information.
